"Real Time Machines: The Future is an App" which discusses the evolution of time machines from science fiction to the current frontiers of science including Clif High's www.halfpasthuman.com predictive linguistics project and his own involvement in development of the Nostracodeus (www.nostracodeus.com) software project.
This site began in 1997 as a capstone project in George's MBA program capstone and sort of took on a life of its own.
The site focuses on a field called Longwave Economic and gets seriously into the 40-90 years cycles in technology and economics that seem to drive a lot more human events than most folks realize.
Of course, since the web bot project coverage began in 2001, the site has also been the thought leader in public descriptions and applications of predictive linguistics since 2001. If someone says predictive linguistics was invented in 2006 (as one academic claimed) he's full of crap and you can visit the web archives yourself if you doubt it...

Capitalism - American Style is a generally good thing. BUT there are a few problems that keep getting swept under the rug that we really need to come to terms with and this site aims to get people questioning some of the basic paradigm kinds of things that can keep the world from exploiting itself to death.
